Katrien Kruger Physiotherapy has two private treatment rooms and an exercise area for rehabilitation or intimate Pilates classes.
When treating, the physiotherapist will do an initial evaluation with the prime goal to assist with your problem. The joints, muscles, bones and nervous system will be expertly assessed as needed along with the pain processing mechanisms, in order to individually fit an appropriate treatment program for your needs. Physiotherapy is based on the scientific use of movement techniques based upon physiological principles, supplemented when necessary by massage, manipulation, electrotherapy and other physical and supportive measures and including advice to, and education of, the patient, for the prevention and treatment of injury, disease and disorders, and the facilitation of normal physiological processes and functional activities. These are used to assist rehabilitation and restoration of function, including the achievement of personal independence.
The physiotherapists at Katrien Kruger Physiotherapy stay in touch with the latest research to ensure that the treatment provided is based on current evidence.
